What’s Happening in Foxmoor
- Town collecting caps, lids for recycled bench
The Town of Merrillville is proud to participate in the Cap-A-Thon program offered by the Lake County Solid Waste Management District. We have a goal of collecting 200 pounds of plastic caps by June. If successful, the caps will be recycled to make a bench or picnic table at no cost for our community. We’re asking residents and businesses to save your plastics caps and drop them off at Town Hall, 7820 Broadway. Please clean the caps before donating them.
Help us keep plastic out of the landfills and instead use it to create a new amenity for one of our parks!
